Description
Most security cameras require long cables, and so do EZVIZ smart surveillance cameras. However, the EZVIZ BC1-B2 is one of their products that doesn't need any cables for installation.
The EZVIZ BC1-B2 stands out from similar products because users don’t need to connect any cables to the camera itself. While many cameras use Wi-Fi for connectivity, most surveillance devices still require electrical wires.
Comprised of one camera and a device called the base station, the BC1-B2 is designed to be wireless with the camera. The base station connects via Ethernet cable to the network. Unlike other devices that connect directly to Wi-Fi or Ethernet cables, the base station can handle up to four cameras simultaneously.
The base station features unique design elements: it’s compact with dimensions of 160 mm in height, 82 mm in width, and 64 mm in thickness.
The camera unit on BC1-B2 resembles a glass-like shape with one rounded end. It measures 105 mm in length and 63 mm in diameter. The bottom features a microUSB port for charging. The base of the camera has magnets for mounting to magnetic bases, and screw holes for mounting to screw bases.
The BC1-B2 already comes equipped with speakers, lights, infrared sensors, and movement detectors. It also includes advanced features like night vision, smart human detection, two-way communication, and voice alerts.
With IP66 certification, the BC1-B2 is waterproof and can withstand rain, dust, heat, and storms.
To access the EZVIZ BC1-B2 camera, users need to download the EZVIZ app from Google Play Store or Apple AppStore. Once installed on a smartphone, the camera automatically registers and becomes ready for use after scanning a QR code from the app.
The BC1-B2 is powered by a large 12.900 mAh battery that can last up to 365 days under normal usage conditions.
